Thoughts from my Huawei P8 Lite Full Review
I have been using the Huawei P8 Lite for about a month straight. It is one impressive budget phone. I actually bought the Huawei launch bundle and received the phone, bluetooth speaker, case, and $50 Net10 Sim card for only $199. I feel like I basically stole the phone at that price. The current price is $249 on Amazon, and still delivers a great value.
The phone offers a Snapdragon 615, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (10GB available), and a 720P display. The available storage may sound like an issue, but the phone also has dual Sims slots, one of which you can use for a microSD card if you chose. The display itself is quite sharp and vibrant for a 720p panel, I really cannot tell a huge difference from the Idol 3 unless I get very close to the screen. The battery life on the phone ranges from 3.5-5 hours SOT, depending on your daily use case. If you play a lot of games and watch videos, expect to land closer to the lower end. I was able to easily get 5 hours when just using Hangouts, Chrome, and browsing social media all day.
