Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge Pre-Order/Release Info

Several people have asked me about preorder and in-store release dates for the S7 and S7 Edge over on my MWC VLOG. To make it easier for you to find exactly what you're looking for, I'm organizing all the information for US carriers in this post. In addition, you will find some information for big retailers like Best Buy along with any preorder perks they may offer.

Verizon

Pre-orders open at Verizon on February 23 at 8AM Eastern. Both phones will be available in store on March 11 for purchase.

  • Galaxy S7 Pricing: $28 per month for 24 months ($672 retail price)
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Pricing: $33 per month for 24 months ($792 retail price)

Verizon will sell both phones in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. The S7 Edge will also come in Silver Titanium. Preorder the S7 at Verizon here, or the S7 edge here

AT&T

Pre-orders open at AT&T on February 23. Both phones are available on March 11 for purchase in store (you will see a pattern occurring here).

  • Galaxy S7 32GB Pricing: $23.17 per month when purchased through AT&T Next 24.
  • Galaxy S7 edge 32GB Pricing: $26.50 per month when purchased through AT&T Next 24.

AT&T will sell both phones in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. The S7 Edge will also come in Silver Titanium.

Preorder either phone from AT&T right here.

T-Mobile

Pre-orders open at T-Mobile on February 23. T-Mobile does not list an official in store date, but you can be sure it will be on or before March 11. T-Mobile has received phones in store earlier than others in the past, so that might be a possibility here as well!

  • Galaxy S7 Pricing: $0 down and $27.92/23 months + $27.83 for the 24th month (FRP: $669.99)
  • Galaxy S7 JUMP! on Demand will be $0 upfront and $28/month
  • Galaxy S7 Edge Pricing: $0 down and $32.50/23 months + $32.39 for the 24th month (FPR: $779.99)
  • Galaxy S7 Edge with JUMP! on Demand will be $0 upfront and $32.50/month

T-Mobile will sell both phones in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. The S7 Edge will also come in Silver Titanium.

You can preorder either phone on T-Mobile here.

Sprint

Sprint is doing something a bit different for the S7 launch. There are two different pricing structures available. One of these is the new Galaxy Forever program (similar to the iPhone Forever program), that allows you to get the new Galaxy every 12 months. The second option is the traditional installment plan offered by the other carriers as well. In either of the cases Sprint is also offering a buy one get one half off deal for both phones.

Galaxy Forever

  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Pricing: $25.99 per month for 24 months with upgrade available after 12 payments, get a second one for $12.99 per month for 24 months after a $13.00 service credit and with upgrade available after 12 payments
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Pricing: $30.50 per month for 24 months with upgrade available after 12 payments, get a second one for just $15.25 per month for 24 months after $15.25 service credit and with upgrade available after 12 payments

Traditional Installment Billing

  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Pricing: $27.09 per month for 24 months, get a second one for just $13.54 per month for 24 months after a $13.55 service credit
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Pricing: $31.25 per month for 24 months, get a second one for just $15.62 per month for 24 months after a $15.63 service credit

You can preorder either phone from Sprint here.

Best Buy

I personally like to preorder my phones from Best Buy, not only because it helps maintain my Elite Plus status there (extended return period is awesome), but they also typically throw in extra perks or gifts when preordering from them. Best Buy preorders will open on February 23 and be available in store for purchase on March 11.

If you preorder from Best Buy, not only do you get the free Gear VR, but also a free 64GB micro SD card to take advantage of that lovely expandable memory! If you absolutely must see a phone before you buy it, Best Buy will also have demo units in most stores starting on February 24.

If you have any questions, hit me up on Twitter. I'll post up a guide for UK carriers soon too!
