A few weeks ago Verizon posted a page detailing the DROID Turbo 2 Marshmallow update. Everyone was pretty excited about it too, until the page was mysteriously taken down. It appears that someone at Verizon jumped the gun because the soak test for the Turbo 2 just started rolling out at the end of last week. When that happened we knew the actual OTA wouldn't be too far behind. Indeed, today Verizon has added the update page back to their site with availability date of March 1.

The update will arrive in two parts. The first update is version 23.31.24, which will prepare you for the arrival of the larger version 24.14.10. The second update here will actually update you to Marshmallow. Of course, the update will bring Doze, Now On Tap, app permissions, and all of the other goodies included in 6.0.
